Andrew Barker
Andrew is a member of staff in the Melton Mowbray Methodist circuit with a brief to encourage Fresh Expressions of Church and Mission. He also lectures at Cliff College in Derbyshire, serves as Pastoral Advisor to Nottingham Chinese Christian Church and is regularly heard on BBC Radio Nottingham.
Canon Dr Christina Baxter CBE
Christina is the Principal of St John’s Theological College Nottingham since 1997. She is also chair of the House of Laity of the Church of England’s General Synod and a member of the Archbishops’ Council. She is involved in the church at local level as a Reader in the parishes of Awsworth and Cossall.
John Bentham (Revd)
John is Area Dean for Nottingham West and Anglican Chaplain to the University of Nottingham. John was also one of the originators of the Soul Survivor Youth Festival, has been a committee member of Greenbelt Arts Festival and is a keen advocate for ‘Fresh Expressions/ Mission Shaped Church’ in the Church of England.
Nick Blane
Nick is a lawyer and works as a partner at the international law firm Eversheds LLP.He is married with three daughters and is an active member of the congregation of St Nic’s church, where he is currently a house group leader.
David Henderson
David is a Civil Engineer and having spent most of his working life managing construction and development projects he ended his career as Chief Executive of a public listed healthcare company. Now retired, he is a Trustee of Trent Vineyard church and is currently looking after their new building project.
Tom Murphy
Tom is Senior Associate Pastor at Trent Vineyard where he has particular responsibility for ministries to the poor, the small group network and youth work for the 11 to 18 group. He believes in an outward looking church that meets the needs of people in the city in a relevant and accessible way.
Jamie Wanless
Jamie is a Chartered Accountant and has been involved in finance at a senior level for over twenty five years. In a voluntary capacity he assists Christians Against Poverty, helps with the Malt Cross Café Bar accounts and is a member of Trent Vineyard.
Peter Willis
Peter is the Chairperson of the Malt Cross Trust and is also Superintendent minister of ‘Life @ the Centre’ at Central Methodist Mission Nottingham. Peter has 29 years experience, mostly in inner city and city centre ministry which has included being Minister in charge of Colliers, a night time venue in city centre Manchester and five years as the district evangelist.
